Rates and disposal
Hourly machine rates come from the Island Equipment Owners Association Suggested Rate Guide, effective 1 January 2026, and the operator is in the rate. A Class 1 to 3 mini is $142 to $169 an hour. Class 4 to 8 comes in at $180 to $248, and Class 9 to 12 at $257 to $398. Material going to the Alberni Valley Sort'nGo Centre is priced by the tonne, and we put haul-off on its own line. Locates first
Nobody digs until BC 1 Call has been in. We put the request in, the locate holds for 30 days, and work has to be under way within 14 days of it.
